MUNCIE — In filling out his coaching staff, Mike Neu has kept many new hires close to home.
Neu told The Star Press he's hired Kevin Lynch, son of former head coach Bill Lynch and brother of current offensive coordinator Joey Lynch, to coach running backs. He spent the last six seasons as a wide receivers coach at the University of Indianapolis.
Neu also confirmed the hire of Chevis Jackson, who most recently was an analyst at Louisiana State University. Jackson played cornerback for LSU for the 2007 national championship team and went on to be drafted in the third round by the Atlanta Falcons.
