CHICAGO, Ill.— The Ball State men's volleyball team traveled to Loyola to take on the Ramblers in MIVA Tournament Semifinal action Wednesday night. The Cardinals were hoping to break the 20 match drought inside Gentile Arena, but came up just short. Ball State fell to Loyola, 3-1 (25-22, 19-25, 15-25, 25-22), ending their 2018 season.
The Cardinals had 41 kills on 41 assists for only a .182 hitting percentage. The team also had 47 digs, eight blocks and five service aces in the contest.
Leading the way for Ball State was freshmen Ben Chinnici.
