TEMPE, Ariz. - The Ball State men's tennis team has been off to a great start so far this spring, and today the Cardinals were ranked 44th in the Oracle Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I Men's Tennis rankings.
Not only were the Cardinals ranked in the top 50, but so were two of their fellow Mid-American Conference members as Northern Illinois and Western Michigan were ranked 37th and 50th, respectively.
Ball State men's tennis coach Bill Richards said it was quite an accomplishment to have three schools from the MAC earn top 50 rankings.
The Cardinals currently own an 11-3 overall record and are 1-2 in league action.
