MUNCIE, Ind. -- The calendar may have just turned to fall, but the work is already beginning in earnest for the Ball State men's basketball team.
The Cardinals officially opened practice for the 2018-19 season Tuesday in the new Dr. Don Shondell Practice Center connected to Worthen Arena.
The Cardinals, now in their sixth season under head coach James Whitford, boast a wealth of returning experience. At the top of that list are returning All-MAC players Trey Moses and Tayler Persons. Ball State has averaged better than 20 wins per season during their time in Muncie, but they have their eyes set on more this season.
