NEW CASTLE, Ind. — Luke Brown tried to remain positive Friday night, even after being contained in a way that he hadn't been in a long time.
In a conversation with the Star Press after Blackford's season ended with a 68-39 loss to Delta in the New Castle Sectional semifinals, Brown reflected on his sophomore campaign and also looked ahead to the offseason. While Brown was excited about what lies ahead, there was no mistaking his disappointment in the way this one came to an end.
"When we aren't really hitting, it's tough," he said of the team shooting 27 percent from the floor.
