MUNCIE, Ind. — The Indiana Basketball Coaches Association announced the participants of the 17th annual IBCA/IHSAA Underclass Showcase, with the boys event taking place June 22 and the girls event on July 15 at Ben Davis High School.
There were 120 boys selected, including five local players: Luke Brown (Blackford), Andrew Froedge (Blue River), Brady Hunt (Delta), Drew Luce (Wapahani) and Victor Young (Muncie Central). Blackford head coach Jerry Hoover and New Castle assistant Matt Lacy will be on the coaching staff.
Maddie Lawrence (Winchester) was the only local girls player of the 117 named.
