MUNCIE, Ind. — The baseball postseason is underway.
Sectional play began Wednesday night with nine local teams scheduled to be in action. Softball sectionals also continue with three local teams in action.

Delta's offense was on fire to start the game at the Yorktown Sectional.
The Eagles scored twice on four hits total in the inning. Leadoff hitter Michael Curtis reached on an error, Wesley Woodin doubled and Chase Gardner drove them both home with a single.
