MUNCIE, Ind. — Jeff Holloway has resigned as head coach of Muncie Central boys basketball to take the same position at Avon, the school announced Monday night.
Holloway, who graduated from Central in 1994 and was a senior on a team that went 24-2, went 36-37 in three seasons with the Bearcats.
"I am extremely honored and privileged to be named the head coach of the Avon Orioles basketball team," Holloway said in a statement. "I'm excited to get started. I will give all that I have to make sure we continue to have a team and program that our community and fans will be proud of.
