PORTLAND, Ind. — After weeks of being nominated, Jay County's Quinn Faulkner has been named The Star Press football Player of the Week.
Faulkner had his most productive game of the season in Jay County's 40-27 victory over Bluffton. The senior running back ran for 258 yards and five — yes, five — touchdowns in the victory.
This season, no one else in East Central Indiana has been as productive as Faulkner. He has run for 768 yards (9.1 yards per carry) and 13 touchdowns to go along with 99 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown.
