James Gilbert signs with Kansas State football after transferring from Ball State

MUNCIE, Ind. — It's official. Both of Ball State's high-profile transfers are bound for Power Five programs.

James Gilbert, among Ball State's all-time rushing leaders, signed with Kansas State on Wednesday morning and will play in a Big 12 Conference that is known for its high-flying offenses. The news comes two days after Riley Neal's commitment to Vanderbilt.
