YORKTOWN, Ind. — The final moments of Yorktown's sectional championship match against Hamilton Heights were tense, to say the least.
Up 1-0, thanks to an earlier goal from senior Lea Alexander, Yorktown's defense was doing all it could to hold off Hamilton Heights offense, which in turn was giving everything it had to try and tie the match in the final minutes.
Both team's benches were on their feet. Most of the folding chairs that people brought to sit along the sideline were empty as fans from both sides watched in uneasy anticipation.

All game, Yorktown's defenders — Neely Agnew, Sierra Marvin, Chloe Mariotti and Hayley Reece — held strong.
