Caleb Huntley remembers what 2017 felt like.
He remembers that mid-November trip up to DeKalb, Illinois. He remembers the cold. He remembers the 63-17 beatdown Northern Illinois served him and his Ball State teammates with. That game was the seventh-straight loss in what would become a nine-game losing streak for the Cardinals during Huntley’s freshman season. And he remembers how everyone just wanted to get out of the Huskies’ stadium.
