CLASS 2A
Andrean (10-3) vs. Evansville Mater Dei (11-3), 11 a.m. Friday
Maybe it was inevitable these teams would meet again. This is a rematch of Andrean’s 21-9 win over Evansville Mater Dei in last year’s state championship. The fifth-ranked Fighting 59ers lost their first two games of the season to Merrillville and Crown Point and had what standout Drayk Bowen called “a bad loss” to Lowell at the end of the regular season.
