MUNCIE, Ind. — It should be another interesting season of East Central Indiana volleyball.
Matches begin on Aug. 13, and many area teams were impacted by the IHSAA's decision this spring to reclassify several fall and winter sports for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years.
Locally, Yorktown remained in Class 4A because of its success factor, New Castle moved down to 3A, Muncie Burris and Wapahani moved down to 2A, Wes-Del moved up to 2A, and Cowan moved down to 1A.
It'll be exciting to see how these changes affect ECI programs, particularly in their new sectional brackets.
