MUNCIE, Ind. — Track and field season is already underway for teams in Delaware County.
It’s an opportunity for Yorktown, Delta, Muncie Central and more to build on what they accomplished last year. And it’s a chance for other programs to showcase their potential ahead of what should be contested sectional, regional and state final competitions.
Here are seven of the many returning local stars fans should keep an eye on this season:
Boys
Austin Hill, Yorktown
The Tigers came in second at sectionals last year and almost cracked the top 10 at regionals, and that wouldn’t have happened without Hill.
