MUNCIE, Ind. — East Central Indiana football teams enjoyed success in Week 6, with five area squads picking up wins across eight total games.
There were also a few eye-catching performances by individual players, perhaps the best combination for a single week so far this season.
This week's Star Press football Player of the Week nominees include: Monroe Central's Luke Jones, Shenandoah's Mayson Lewis, Yorktown's Mason Moulton, Jay County's Kadin Ridenour, Yorktown's Jalen Thomas and Muncie Central's Josiah Ullom.
