MUNCIE, Ind. — Indiana high school football played its first week of games on Friday, with East Central Indiana teams mostly finding success.
There were several individual standouts, however, who deserve recognition, so here is your chance to vote on the area's top performer from Week 1.
This week's Star Press football Player of the Week nominees include: Muncie Central's De'Markis Cole, New Castle's Jon Eberhart, Monroe Central's Luke Jones, Shenandoah's Mayson Lewis, Delta's Palmer Samuels and Yorktown's Jalen Thomas.
