MUNCIE, Ind. — The Hoosiers Reunion All-Star Classic will have a local feel, and that starts on the sidelines with the two head coaches.
New Castle's Daniel Cox, who coached the Trojans to a 27-3 record this past season, will lead one boys squad in the game scheduled for June 1. Blackford's Jerry Hoover, the 83-year-old coach who helped Blackford to a remarkable turnaround in his first season, will lead the other.
The 24-player event features local players include New Castle's Niah Williamson and Blackford's JD Hoover. Ball State signee Jarron Coleman (Indianapolis Cathedral) is also on the roster, as is Indiana signees Robert Phinisee (McCutcheon) and Damezi Anderson (South Bend Riley).
