MUNCIE, Ind. — Two girls basketball teams from East Central Indiana earned wins on Tuesday to advance to the sectional semifinals.
Wapahani 61, Elwood 39
Wapahani rolled by Elwood in the Sheridan Sectional behind Carlie Bogg's 28 points, including six 3-pointers. The Raiders are normally a balanced team with three players averaging between 11.3 and 11.9 points, but this was Boggs' night from the beginning. She was on fire early on with five 3-pointers and 17 points in the first quarter. Sydney Cook and Dayten Lee added 11 points each, while Lexi Morrow scored six and Madison Thompson chipped in five.
