MUNCIE, Ind. — As the volleyball season gets going, three local teams are still unbeaten. Two of them won Monday night: Burris and Daleville.
Burris rolled past Liberty Christian 25-16, 25-11, 25-11 in Pioneer Conference play. MyKel Ivy paced the Owls (2-0) with 12 kills, while Annie Elvin added 10. Kloie McGrew racked up 30 assists, and Laura Nagle had six digs.
Daleville swept Lapel 26-24, 25-16, 25-19. Lindsay Ingenito led the Broncos with 16 kills and eight aces and Zannah Weber had 31 assists. Marlee Hobbs added six kills and Lexi Leisure and Kenzie Riddle contributed nine digs each.
