MUNCIE, Ind. — It was a strong day for Central athletics as it picked up wins in baseball, softball and girls tennis.
Here are Monday's high school sports results.
Baseball
Central 4, Winchester 0
Ryan Johnson tossed a complete-game shutout, racking up seven strikeouts with no walks to help the Bearcats (1-5) to their first win. Zach Garrett went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI, while Dylan Gonzales drove in two.
Alexandria 3, Delta 0
The Eagles (2-4) got hits from Wesley Woodin, Aiden Hinds and Dalin Case.
