MUNCIE, Ind. — The Burris girls tennis team continued its strong start Thursday, and Yorktown's softball team put up 27 runs on 27 hits.

Burris defeated Central 4-1 to improve its record to 4-0. The Owls' singles players of Isabelle Behrman, Catherine Draghiciu and Emily Adamowicz remained undefeated on the season, while the No. 1 doubles team of Hannah Flanagan and Megan Draghiciu is also unbeaten. Gracie Evans and Amelia Ornate earned a win in doubles action for Central.
