MUNCIE, Ind. — Wapahani visited Burris on Thursday in one of the most highly anticipated area volleyball matchups in 2019.
The Raiders, ranked second in 2A, and Owls, ranked first in 3A, battled for five sets before Wapahani claimed the deciding point. Wapahani upset Burris, 12-25, 25-22, 17-25, 25-16, 17-15. Abigail Kesler tallied 23 kills for the Owls as teammates Mara Perry and Helen Beach recorded 48 assists and 29 digs, respectively.
