MUNCIE, Ind. — Within minutes of finishing her first sectional round of 18, Central freshman Teddi Bishop was back on the practice putting green at Crestview Golf Club.
You see, Bishop cruised through the front nine with a 41. But she didn’t make as many putts on the back and her score suffered. So three balls at a time, Bishop was approaching the practice holes with a long putt and then tapping them in on her second, sometimes third, shot.
Bishop knew her score of 89 was going to be close to winning, but couldn’t be too sure.
