MUNCIE, Ind. — Less than a week before the first game of his senior season, Alex Joss was medically cleared to join his Ball State football teammates. It had been a long road to recovery since the offensive lineman tore his ACL in the 2017 season opener at Illinois. He rehabbed in the winter and spring before experiencing swelling in his knee during the summer that set him back.
