MUNCIE, Ind. — Indiana high school girls basketball officially began on Nov. 1 as East Central Indiana teams begin play this week.
Here are some of the top players to keep an eye on this season:
Renna Schwieterman (Jay County, junior forward)
A Div. I talent, Schwieterman had another tremendous season for Jay County last year. She improved her offensive averages to 18.2 points and 3.8 assists per game, leading the Patriots to a 19-4 record and conference title.
She had three games of 30-plus point outings last year, her best being a 43-point explosion in a 74-36 win over Southern Wells.
