Harris’ Second-Place Finish Leads T&F on Day 1 of Gladstein Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - - Freshman sprinter Jasmine Harris (Moreland Hills, Ohio/Orange) clocked a career-fast time of 8.53 in the finals of the 60m hurdles to place second in the event and lead the Ball State track & field team on the opening day of the Gladstein Invitational hosted by Indiana.

In her first collegiate appearance at IU's Gladstein Fieldhouse, Harris was the third seed coming out of the prelims of the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.76. However, she turned it up a notch for the finals with her time of 8.
