YPSILANTI, Mich. - In what was almost a preview of the MAC Gymnastics Championships, the Ball State gymnastics team set a school record with a 195.975 score. It's the fourth time in two seasons the Cardinals have set a school meet scoring record. The record score was also good the highest of the day in the quad meet at Eastern Michigan, defeating EMU, Kent State and Western Michigan.
"It was like a mini-MAC meet. For our first away meet, the team did awesome," head coach Joanna Saleem said.
