Gym Cards Jump Past Kent State

By: Ball State Athletics

MUNCIE - Ball State gymnastics has made its way in recent seasons with strong scores on vault. And starting that event in home meets gives the team great momentum heading into the other rotations. But what happens when the big vault isn't there?

Ball State's 48.575 team score on vault tied its lowest mark of the year, but the Cardinals made up for it with a bars rotation among the season's best.

"We started maybe a little touch flatter on vault than we've been in the past," head coach Joanna Saleem said.
