HARTFORD CITY, Ind. — There was a moment during yet another of Luke Brown’s scoring barrages when the Blackford guard looked into the crowd to see if he was watching. Brown had sunk one of his patented deep 3-pointers from the volleyball line, and he glanced over to the northeast corner of the gymnasium, where Indiana governor Eric Holcomb – wearing a Hickory sweater from the movie "Hoosiers" – sat.
People from around the state have flocked to Hartford City to catch a glimpse of Brown, the superstar sophomore on a pace to break Indiana’s career scoring record, but this game against Daleville was extra special with Holcomb going out of his way to attend.
