MUNCIE, Ind. — With girls golf beginning its regular season, the long-awaited fall high school sports season is officially underway in Indiana.
East Central Indiana saw plenty of competitive team play last season as Yorktown beat Wapahani by a single stroke to win the Delaware County championship and Winchester edged Daleville by two strokes to claim the Muncie Central sectional.
This year, area teams bring back plenty of veteran golfers, including a number of regional qualifiers from the each of the past few seasons.
