CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2019 Academic All-MAC football team today, and the Ball State Cardinals topped the list with 20 players. Fifteen of the 20 Cardinal student-athletes made a return appearance on this list.
Offensive linemen and , along with tight end , were selected to the Academic All-MAC team for a fourth time. Three other players – offensive lineman , wide receiver and offensive lineman – qualified for the third time in their collegiate careers.
Making the Academic All-MAC team for a second time were offensive lineman , linebacker , safety , linebacker , wide receiver , running back , quarterback , linebacker and linebacker .
