YORKTOWN, Ind. — For Billy Dunn, the thrill of flying was the only thing that matched the adrenaline rush he got while playing basketball. Once his basketball dreams were over, Billy went into the Navy as a pilot, and he's been flying ever since.
36 years later, his son, Yorktown guard Luke Dunn, is following in his father's footsteps. On April 15, Luke signed the paperwork to continue his basketball and aviation career at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona.
It didn't come with the frills of a typical signing day, just a printed out form that Luke signed and emailed back to his future coaches.
