MUNCIE, Ind. - - Friday's Ball State field hockey game came down to one goal, which unfortunately went to Kent State. As a result, the Cardinals lost a tough defensive battle against the Golden Flashes at the Briner Sports Complex.
"I am so proud of the girls it's the best I have ever seen them play," Ball State head field hockey coach Stephanie Bernthal said. "We were definitely the aggressors in this game. I think we put a really good team on their heels. I truly believe this team is on a path to greatness. The maturing is happening every day.
