GILBERT, Ariz. - The Ball State field hockey program has earned the 2019 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award, San announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association on Tuesday.
Ball State was one of was one of 73 programs to receive the prestigious award. The Division I National Academic Team Award recognizes programs which earn a team grade-point average of 3.0-or-higher during the fall semester of the 2019-20 school year.
The Ball State field hockey team had a successful academic start to the 2019-20 school year, after posting a team fall grade point average of 3.
