MUNCIE, Ind. — It’s not a new feeling for Stephanie Bloom, to not be able to rewatch the match that ended her team's season.
Yorktown’s volleyball coach still hasn’t watched her team’s 2017 4A semi-state championship loss, a four-set defeat against Crown Point, again. Bloom is so invested in the work her athletes put in, so emotionally locked in, that she can’t handle how devastating it is to see the season end for them. So it’s no surprise that to date she’s only watched a few moments of Yorktown’s 2019 4A sectional semi-final loss against eventual state champion New Castle, because she’s “not there yet.
