When Paragon Marketing contacted New Castle over the summer about potentially hosting an ESPN event, athletic director Shane Osting didn’t know which teams would come to the New Castle Fieldhouse, but he was excited about the possibility of getting the world’s largest high school gym in front of a national audience.
Now that the teams have been announced and the double-header will be on ESPN2 on Thursday night, he’s even more excited for what he believes is the building's first time on ESPN.
The top three high school teams in the country, according to USA Today, will be on display as the ESPN High School Showcase pits New Albany (Ind.
