On Thursday, Superintendent of Public Instruction Jennifer McCormick directed that all K-12 schools throughout Indiana will remain closed for the remainder of the school year in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. An hour later, the Indiana High School Athletic Association announced that all spring sports tournament series events for the 2019-20 school year have been canceled, as well.
