MUNCIE, Ind. — Three East Central Indiana football teams emerged victorious Friday night with another game scheduled for Saturday.
Here's what went down in Week 8 of the high school football season:
Muncie Central 20, Anderson 15
Muncie Central won its third straight game in a 20-15 victory over Anderson.
Trenton French put the Bearcats in front with a 2-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Anderson responded in the second but French connected on a deep pass to Josiah Ullom to set up another scoring drive for the Bearcats. Down 15-14 after another touchdown and a safety, Ullom scored the game's final touchdown on a 9-yard run to give Muncie Central the 20-15 victory.
