MUNCIE, Ind. — Week 8 saw four area teams — Delta, Monroe Central, Wes-Del and Winchester — emerge victorious.
Next Friday is the final week of the regular season before high school football teams across the state open up sectional play.
Here are the scores and stats from each of the games featuring ECI teams:
Delta 22, Greenfield-Central 16
Delta won its third straight game, this time in a 22-16 victory over Hoosier Heritage Conference rival Greenfield-Central. Delta struck first but Greenfield-Central would take the lead by the end of the first quarter.
From there, Delta scored a pair of touchdowns, both on throws from Brady Hunt to Trevor Edgerton.
