MUNCIE, Ind. — Charlie Behrman wasn’t worried.
Playing his first season of high school tennis, assuming the No. 1 singles role for Burris, facts that may appear daunting to some, weren’t for him. He stepped onto the court match after match confident he belonged. He won, a lot.
And while his season ended Wednesday in the sectional round of Indiana’s singles and doubles state tournament, he showcased just how far he’s already come and how much farther he’s prepared to go.
