MUNCIE, Ind. — Four East Central Indiana girls basketball teams won Saturday night and are moving on to sectional championship games Monday night.
ECI has three possible winners Monday, and with Monroe Central and Winchester already hoisting sectional hardware, the area could have five local champions. At least one of those will be from Delaware County, as Daleville and Cowan will meet for the third time this season. Neither has won a girls basketball sectional title before. They split the first two meetings.
