MUNCIE — Without leading scorer Kaleb Slaven, the Delta boys basketball team needed to find some way to replace his 15 points per game, not to mention the size he provides in the paint.
In Delta's 51-49 win over Daleville in the semifinal of the Delaware County Tournament, they turned to Matt Norris and Adam Haynes.
Both Eagles coach Ryan VanSkyock and Haynes said the offense will be facilitated through Norris, but in the win, it was Haynes who stood out.
He knocked down a pair of free throws to give Delta a 51-48 lead late.
