MOREHEAD, KY. – The Ball State University soccer team created several chances but could not score until header hit the back of the net in overtime to earn the Cardinals a 1-0 victory over Morehead State on Sunday afternoon at Jayne Stadium.
The Cardinals improved to 2-1-0 with the win while Morehead State dropped to 1-3-0.
"I'm really proud of our team. I thought the girls improved on the things we addressed from the previous game and put together a complete effort," said Ball State head coach . "Morehead State is a well-organized team and their goalkeeper played an incredible match.
