That’s where Delta’s main gun stands when her Eagles are in the field, where she’s stood for the better part of her high school softball career. It’s where, with unwavering support from her coach, Doug Wilder, the one they call Tasha has helped deliver victory after victory and become more formidable year over year.

So when Delta’s three-run lead on Wapahani through one-and-a-half innings Tuesday at the Delaware County Softball Tournament at Wes-Del evaporated in the bottom half of the second, the Eagles didn’t panic and scored five more runs by game’s end.
