MUNCIE, Ind. — The Star Press' second East Central Indiana football Player of the Week is Palmer Samuels.
The Delta senior running back notched another terrific performance in Week 2, tallying 132 rushing yards and two scores on 28 carries to lead his team to a 21-14 win over Columbia City. Samuels has been a workhorse for the Eagles so far after missing all of the 2021 with a knee injury, totaling 306 yards and five touchdowns on 58 carries (5.3 yards per carry) through two games.
