MARION, Ind. — When Maggie Hunt completed her match at No. 3 singles, she didn't know she was the third, and final, point Delta's girls tennis team needed to clinch its sixth straight regional title.
Hunt, playing alongside the No. 2 doubles match that had finished moments before, was focused on beating Marion's Graciella Solis, which she did convincingly (6-2, 6-3). At the time, she also didn't know just how vital that win was as the Eagles would go on to drop their final two matches and beat Marion 3-2.
"I went into it kind of thinking (that there was) no pressure, just give it all I have," Hunt said.
