PORTLAND, Ind. — After a successful weekend of girls sectional swimming action, East Central Indiana will be represented by eight swimmers at next week’s IHSAA state championship.
The sectional championships, which began with preliminaries on Thursday and concluded with the final round on Saturday afternoon, saw eight area swimmers – Delta’s Emma Brown, Jordan Bunch, Elle Groves, Annie Jackson, Addison Shue, and Lora Warrner, Jay County’s Mara Bader, and New Castle’s Olivia Owens – win their respective individual or relay events to punch their ticket to state.
