MUNCIE, Ind. — Saturday couldn't have gone much better for the Delta girls golf team.
The Eagles, who have been playing some of their best golf over the past few weeks, continued that trend Saturday at Crestview Golf course. All five of Delta's golfers shot personal bests and collectively shot a 342. The Eagles had two of its golfers — medalist Belle Brown and Savanna Hickey — finish in the top-five individually.
"It was very special, it was very rewarding to do that today," Delta head coach Jim Fowler said. "It was special after I had three seniors graduate off of last year's sectional championship team.
