MUNCIE, Ind. — First-year Delta girls soccer coach Brytany Pope didn't know much about Addie Chester coming in. The main reason she knew of her was because some of the other middle school teachers were trying to talk her into playing for Pope on the high school team as a freshman.
This girl must have potential then, Pope realized, if other teachers are working this hard to get her to join.
Chester wasn't planning to play. She's a part of FC Pride soccer club out of Indianapolis, and this is about the time colleges start looking at players.
